Rock Point Commons is pleased to announce its' latest camp partnership with the Greater Burlington YMCA this summer. In lieu of running our own camp, Rock Point teamed up with this local organization to ensure our property remained a place where children could experience the great outdoors in a safe atmosphere. “It was important for us to find a community partner who respected and shared in our Rock Point vision for education and community. We are excited to welcome back the Y and see children run around amongst the trees and swim in our beautiful lake again this summer!” shared Julie Garwood, Rock Point’s former Camp Director, and Marketing Coordinator.
GBYMCA will be hosting two of their day camps on our property this season: Camp IGNiTE and Camp Propel. First, we welcome back Camp IGNiTE, a day camp for girls and gender non-conforming youth between the ages of 8-14. Second, we are excited to host Camp Propel, a new co-ed day camp for ages 8-14. Both camps run for eight one-week sessions, 8:00 am-5:00 pm, M-F. The summer season will be June 21- August 13th.
