VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES

Thank you so much for your interest in volunteering with us at Rock Point Commons! There are currently three main categories of volunteer work with us:

Community Homestead

This includes things like gardening, fruit & nut tree care, maple sugaring, food processing, and other related activities. Harvests are shared amongst volunteers, community members, and food-sharing projects such as Food Not Bombs and The People's Farmstand.

Natural Area Stewardship

These activities pertain more to the "wild" spaces and the trails that navigate them. This involves things like invasive species removal, native plantings, trash cleanup, and trail maintenance.

Interested in either of these? Join our contact list here!

Trail Steward Program

With the support of Burlington Wildways and The Intervale Center, Rock Point Commons has a network of volunteer trail stewards who walk the trail throughout each month and help with light maintenance, monitoring, and talking to other visitors. Hours in this program can also get you a discount at City Market through their Member Work program. Sign-up and complete the online training here: https://burlingtonwildways.org/user/register
