Partners and Friends Contribution

Rock Point Trails Update: This photo shows the work done by Timber and Stone at entrance to the Champlain Thrust Fault. The Parade Ground-Thrust Fault Trail has been re-routed and improved. Work begins this fall on the trails on the perimeter of the Rock Point Peninsula. The last parts of the trail work, a universal access trail to the Outdoor Chapel and lookout and a trail connecting to the Burlington Bike Path on the northern border of the property, are scheduled for 2020 completion.

Trails Contributions Report and A Request

Day Passes and Yearly Passes for Groups and Individuals and Families

One of our strategies to help us care for Rock Point is our request for contributions from those using the trails or property. We estimate 10,000 day visits per year overall. Our overhead costs to maintain our roads, grounds and trails is roughly $80,000. Our request is not a fee, but a plea for support. To date this year we have received $3,479 from all of these sources. Please give as you are able by visiting the link on our website and click visitors: www.rockpointvt.org.
