Rock Point Commons is excited to announce the arrival of Kelly Kimball as our new Executive Director. Kimball (she/her) brings over 20 years of experience supporting local development programs worldwide, including programs aimed at gender equity and social inclusion, natural resource management, community engagement, and youth participation.
For the last 15 years, she has worked with the Burlington, Vermont-based firm Tetra Tech ARD as a project manager and new business developer. She has worked collaboratively with civil society, academics, community activists, and government agencies. Throughout her career, Ms. Kimball has focused on developing strategic solutions to operational and organizational challenges, improving equitable access to services and resources, and building partnerships with community groups to co-create solutions to shared challenges.
An avid gardener, hiker, and enthusiastic participant in local citizen science initiatives, she lives with her family in Burlington, Vermont, just down the bike path from Rock Point.
