Being a volunteer Trail Steward at Rock Point and a landscape painter is a perfect combination according to Burlington-based artist Katharine Montstream. For the last 18 months, Katharine has painted at Rock Point in different season and times of day. Her favorite time to paint Rock Point is in March when the lake is frozen. She says that it’s particularly magnificent as the sunsets reflect off the ice. A new exhibit will open on Friday night, October 4 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Montstream Studio, 129 St Paul Street, in Burlington, Vermont. The exhibit will be up thru November 3.
Montstream Studio’s hours are
